Chandrayaan-3 live Location Today
Chandrayaan-3 presently resides within the Lamola Crater situated on the Moon. The landing module, Vikram, successfully landed within this crater on August 23, 2023.
Additionally, the rover named Pragyan has been released from the lander module and is actively investigating the lunar landscape near the landing location.
The Lamola Crater is located in the South Pole region of the moon. It is a relatively young crater, having formed about 1 billion years ago. The crater is about 15 kilometers in diameter and 1.5 kilometers deep. The soil and rocks in the Lamola Crater are thought to be rich in water ice.
